Parineeta bro,

Why do you want to get to Nepal through India or China???? Flying to Nepal through India or China is a good idea only if you received your legal documents here based on asylum. Other than that it is better to fly to Nepal from countries other than India, the route many airlines offer. Indian Laws allow people to carry one each of electronics like laptops, camera, cell phones etc. If you have only one with you, they won't bother you, if you have more than one, they might inquire you about it.

Good Luck.

actually, i have my cousin in India n China. they want me to come there n visit their country. i know that i have to apply visa for china, so was planning to go India from Usa n go to Nepal with her. in that way i can visit india too for the same ticket price but i think i will have some luggage problems. abt taking electronic stuff, i was just wondering what would they do if i take more than one. just getting some suggestions.  thank u  for  the replies.

In that case, if you have tickets to Nepal only after transit stay in India, the Indian Customs won't bother you. If they ask anything, you can just show them your tickets to Nepal citing you ae only a transit passenger in India. However, if you're staying in India for a few days, then you might have to pay the customs, if they find out about the taxable electronics.

Anyways, safe journey and Good Luck.
