I personally attended northlake community college and hated it from entire gut and always hoped to leave it

i made good money and had a nice car but no satisfaction and nepali people act like competitors with me

i left north lake with the bad taste and got to saint cloud and i love it and its so freakin liberal and people are so nice and i found a girlfren too thatsy i hate north lake....

st cloud realy sucks... this college is not good.. i heard their engineering and comp science program is good but if u are coming here for other programs stay away...

hitcooldude, ya it doesn’t seem to be there anymore.

 If you go to North Lake college check out Sculpture by nepali  on J building  hall way.

st cloud city is also a racist place... its not dangerous but people are kind of backwards if u know what i mean.

This is being posted as a reminder to the campus community that the perpetrators of the recent hate crimes/vandalism have not been apprehended and to assure everyone is aware of the most recent incident.

 

At 8:40 a.m., Thursday, December 27, 2007, Public Safety received a report that a swastika with the name “Hitler” under the symbol had been drawn on an inside wall of the west elevator in W. W. Holes Residence Hall.  Interviews have confirmed this hate crime/vandalism was NOT present in that elevator before 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 26, 2007.  Details such as size of the symbol, writing style of the name and location of this symbol within the elevator are not being released as such detail may be of value in the on-going investigation of this incident.

 

Request for Information

This bias-motivated act is being investigated by the Public Safety Department and the St. Cloud Police Department.  Your assistance is sought in efforts to identify and hold accountable the responsible person(s).

Attempted Assault and a Bias-Motivated/Hate Crime Incident

 

At 7:15 p.m., Friday, December 14, 2007, a female student walked north across the bridge over University Drive South.  On the north side she walked past three white males.  One of the males spat at her without hitting her.  There was no additional contact between the victim and the subjects who continued to walk away from her.  The victim could not provide any further description of any of the suspects. 

 At 7:20 p.m., while walking north between the Performing Arts Center and the Atwood Memorial Center, this same female student walked past two different white males.  One of the two males presented a raised arm salute that the victim reported to be a “Nazi salute.”  There was no additional interaction between suspects and the victim.  The victim and suspects continued walking in opposite directions.

 These incidents constitute a threat to the safety of our students and the security of our campus community and are hurtful to our entire educational community.  Everyone is encouraged to be vigilant concerning campus and individual security.

Safety Alert:

 The following reports of BIAS-MOTIVATED VANDALISM on the campus of St. Cloud State University constitute a threat to the safety of our students and the security of our campus community.  All are encouraged to be vigilant concerning campus and individual security.

 At 1:25 p.m. Tuesday, November 13, Public Safety learned that vandalism in the form of a swastika and an “X” had been carved into a wall and a chair had been damaged in the Student Cultural Center’s Computer Lab of the Atwood Memorial Center.  Initial interviews and investigation indicate that this incident occurred between 11:30 p.m. Monday, November 12, and the time the vandalism was discovered by a student who entered the lab at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday, November 13.

 At 10:19 a.m. Thursday, November 15, Public Safety was notified that a similar act of vandalism had occurred in the men’s restroom on the main floor of Atwood.  It was learned a swastika had been scratched on one side of a stall in that location.  A time frame for this incident’s occurrence has not been determined.
