Buy Rolaids and Tums from local gas station and drug store. Chew like a piece of candy when ever you have stomach burn. Eat little but frequent meals. If you eat too much at a time, you will get gastric reflux and could be even worse. The best thing to eat would be the inside part of Aloe Vera (Gheeu kumari) if you can find it. They even sell it as aloe juice, you will just have to google it and find the whearabouts.

Do not skip breakfast? and should take heavy breakfast, and lunch. Not much caffeine and spice that produces heart burn. Get something snacks in your side when ever you need use it. Enough liquid may help you,( milk ).Depending upon your age ( you can get a glucose-meter for 10 buck at rite aid) have a test of glucose too, it does not hurt to have a check.

Thanks Zero and Syanjali. I used to eat loads of sandwiches.......a kinda substitute for lunch and dinner......do u think it might be the reason?

Londonbridge, Develop a habit of drinking two full glass of lemon-water every morning immediately after you wake up. It seems weird but did work with me and couple of my friends. Another import thing to consider is timing of your feeding habit. Eat same load at the same time. Gastric will be far away. Pale dai, By saying that, I meant there is no such a disease.

Milk is good for gastric, but you have to add half of water before you drink. No fatty food and spicy at all until your gastric goes away. Boiling food for 4,5 months would gastric goes away. You should not eat full of stomach, but eat friquently whenever you fell hungry. This might help.

Hey Londonbridge,
I used to have severe gastric problem but I am totally fine now. I did lots of different treatment back in Nepal as well as here in US. But nothing helped until I found one medicine at GNC store.(www.gnc.com).
the medicin is DGL Licorice. You have to take one capsule half an hour before meal every day in the morning and in the evening. Take two bottles of it and your problem will go away like charm. This works. I suggested to lots of my friends and they are doing fine with their acidity.
