Even in the darkest night, when I look up to the sky,
I start thinking of you and then ask myself, why?
Why do I like you so much? I think and smile,
because I know the list could run on for miles.

Your words like sparks of light illuminate my soul,
as the light penetrates deeper, makes me feel whole.
You always speak with sweetness, honesty and affection.
The warmth, keeps the rain out, my ultimate protection.

The dreams that I dream these days, they all involve you,
the possibilities I see there and the things we can do.
Days that once were stormy are now the brightest blue,
things would change drastically this way, I never had a clue.

How easily you solve the mysteries that lies inside my heart,
why the deep in my soul, you are the most important part.
I could go on and on with my rambling, if you want to hear,
but you must know what I have for you is real and pure.
