I'd say canada better than Aussie. Just my opinion, never been to australia, it is closer from nepal but dang it is downunder yo.

Canada... in few years it is gonna be better than US... wait and watch .....

I had visited Canada last year... It was just so great. Vancouver side oh my god ! and people were so friendly. It was very expensive though more than SFO.

Dont have any idea about australia, but I would definately say Canada is so great, good environment, friendly people and with lots of history and stories to learn !

How could you say Canada if you don't have any idea abt Australia. It does mean that you prefer Canada because you ppl visited Vancouver. That would just be a rough idea. There won't be any good point to migrate because of the assumptions we make and these assumption are being made because we met good ppl, had good environment but will this be the reason to migrate???

About the terms and condition for migration  he/she didn't say what he/she prefers ?. just he/she said which do you think is better ? He/she  is not asking  me to judge what to look for while migrating. I am just responding to whatever I think was good about that place.

Canada v. Australia

Statistics Canada announced that in the late 1990s Canada's living standard grew at the same rate as Australia's.

That achievement was significant given that the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) said Australia had one of the "miracle economies" of the 1990s.

"From 1995 to 2000, gross domestic product (GDP) per capita in Canada increased at an annual average rate of three per cent," Stats Canada reported in December 2003. "This occurred despite a widening gap between the two countries in terms of labour productivity."

Australian productivity rose at an average annual pace of 2.5 per cent during the five-year period, compared with 1.5 per cent in Canada.

"How could Canada increase its standard of living as fast as Australia, but be less productive?" the agency asked. "The answer is related primarily to differences in their labour markets.

Australia has good climate but less jobs than Canada. If you can get job, PR gets good facilities overthere.

I left canada to come to Australia... the main reason being weather..

Imagine being buried in snow for 7 months in a year (in canada) vs. sunny weather with beatutiful beaches!!!

How is job market (for  Engineers) , Canada Vs Autralia ??

If you have reasonable English YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET IT.

One of my friend migrated 6 months ago to small town near Melbourne and now he got the job as civil engineer. He was educated in Nepal.

But I know few people who took as long as 5 years to get the job in related field.

I don't know about CANADA.

BEST place to live comes with a hefty tax cut. And Canada is cold like in Humla, Jumla. Go to Australia.

I have been to both countries, here's what I think.

Weather-wise, Australia is hot, Canada is cold.  Of course, I am generalizing.  You could live in Vancouver and it rarely snows there.  Similarly some parts of Australia never go above 35 degrees celsius.  If you love winter sports go to Canada.  If you love summer sports, going to the beach, definitely Australia is for you.

It's true that Canada, particularly Vancouver, has been consistently rated as one of the best places to live.  It's just beautiful over there.  But come to the eastern side of Rocky Mountains, Canada is flat and some would even say ugly.

Melbourne, Australia has been rated as #1 city to live in recent years, surpassing Vancouver.  But I do not think the former is as pretty as the latter.

Australia has higher number of Nepalis than Canada, I hear.

The minimum wage is higher in Australia, $15 vs. $6.  Currency is almost of same value viz-a-viz US Dollar, CAD is a shade higher than AUD.

I guess it really depends where your friends and family are.  I personally prefer Australia, but that's just me.
