Badal better than Prachanda & Bhattarai for PM post: Nepal

Madhav Kumar Nepal, the UML ex-general secretary has said that Maoists' leader Ram Bahadur Thapa alias Badal is better placed for the post of the prime minister than the Maoists' party chief Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Dr. Babu Ram Bhattarai, the Maoists second man-in-command.

Mr. Nepal said this talking to the Annapurna Post daily yesterday, August 3, 2008 upon his return home from a two daily India trip-the country he loves most.

“It is better to form a consensus government under Comrade Badal than Comrade Prachanda or even Comrade Bhattarai”, said Mr. Nepal.

Mr. Nepal during his stay in New Delhi met with India’s ex-Prime Minister I.K. Gujral, General Secretary of the Indian Communist Party(CPI) Mr. Prakash Karat, senor Communist leader Sita Ram Yechuri, A.B Bardhan and the general secretary of CPI-Marxist D. Raja.

These Indian leaders are presumed to be Mr. Nepal’s real political mentors.

“I talked to the president of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Raj Nath Singh and senior leader Mr. Lal Krishna Advani over telephone”, added Mr. Nepal.

However, what these two BJP leaders “instructed” the lousy Nepali communist, he did not reveal.

Mr. Nepal as per the report also attended a program organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party in New Delhi.

“The Indian leaders were of the opinion that a National government must be formed in Nepal”, concluded Mr. Nepal.

This should have been counter proposal from UML and NC when Prachanda said No , Girija and No Madhave Nepal.  At that time, Madhave Nepal was leaning high hope to become President.  His expression now is true reflection of old Nepali Proverb - Hagi pani sakyo, Dailo pani Dekhyo!

Do we all know Maosit were made by India to throw the king, and now after India used Maoist for that perpose, they don't want maoist to form the government. China offered RAIL ROAD not only till KHASA but few kilometer away from KTM, and gautenteed 2 lakh employment in that route, but because Maoist are run by INDIA, maoist refused taht perposal to be in China side.
