i have been looking for job through consultancy..no luck yet...my h1 starts on oct 1..i am in opt right now..so before oct can i go for masters..will my consultancy be able to do anything wrong to me...i was worried 'bcoz after oct i will be one of their employees legally...any suggestions would be highly appreciated.. cat

aint a damn thing they can do. there is no bondage labor law in the US. u can join n leave as u please - however some companies prohibit u to work for a competitor for some period. since ur going back to school u should be fine.

You don't have to notify the current employee. Just get the I-20 from the school you are attending. Then file for change of status I-539.
|
