Guys,
When I open Sajha.com, I see lots of thread names with Russian (or whatever) character encodings. But when I actually open the thread, it's a one with thread title in Nepali Characters.

Sabalai yestai bha chha ki tin barsa agaadi maile piyeko जांड balla aayera lagna thalyo?

Yeah, it happens to me quite often these days specially with nepali font.But after refreshing the page it's all normal.  Any idea why this happens?

then keep refreshing.. ;)

 

it is encoding problem.. generally a result of wrong encoding set in DB..(it is not the case in sajha cuz other users see it correct).. but just wondering how come it gets corrected on refreshing.. ?

 Might be browser's display encoding wrong set ? clear browser's cookies and temp internet files...

 

By the ways, have you guys noted these days sajha getting slow ?? seems sandai should remove unnecesssary fancy ajax / javascript.. or might be just due to high traffic ?? sometimes i get result of query timeout.. while trying to access a page..

exactly...sajha is getting real slow...aaja ta homepage pani ali naulo thiyo...with the thread opening in a new frame in the same window....aint good though imo...
