I would appreciate your valuable suggestions about studying MBA in St. Cloud University. How is it rated in contest of  faculty, cost and so on? Maybe you friends could help me to find a better one with low cost.

I don't know about St. Cloud University but few days ago somebody posted a video clips of two nepali chicks who were singing and dancing (and saying that it is too cold).

Chicks were really cute. I search many times to find out that clips but I couldn't find it. I would really appreciate if someone post that video clip again.

It is AACSB accredited program but question is, where do you want to go after you graduate? If you ever get out of Minnesota with the MBA degree from St Cloud, it has less meaning to employers. You probably know that there is difference in choosing between undergrad and grad school.   If you had asked us about undergraduate program there, then I would say… yes.. go ahead. But, for MBA at SCSU, I would first look at what other choices you have. Cost is obviously cheaper there, I believe. But take a look at their faculty staffs… how qualified they are. When I did my undergrad from there, the best they had was a couple of professor who graduated from UofM. Most professors there were nothing but bull. You may not be competitive enough to go for top tier schools like UofM (considering you're in MN), but try at least something better than St Cloud.

Thanks  a lot Obie! What you have suggested means a lot for me. You see I am still in Nepal and just completed BBA with very good GPA. I don't know much about Grad and Under grad Universities. Infact I have no knowledge at all. It's just I found that Minnesota is popular destination for Nepali student. It would be great if you could recommend me some other Universities as you seem to know a lot.

The MBA program is probably one of the toughest area to get into if you're targeting good schools. AACSB  is probably the minimum accreditation you look at. I hope you've already taken GMAT and you have good GPA. To evaluate schools, go through the US News ranking schools.

http://colleges.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/college/national-search

Take a look at some BOTTOM part of TOP tier and Tier 3. Try to apply into at least 4- 5 schools out the list. 2-3 top schools (not taking about top 50 or so) and 2-3 Tier 3 schools. Look at their acceptance rate and tuition as well. You should have no problem in Tier 3 schools, but for the top tier, you really have to be competative.

I hope this will help... good luck!

I am probably wrong, but for a Nepali student, it would be pretty tough to find a job that would sponsor ur work visa if you have an MBA. Especially without some relevant job experience.

Dont know much about the MBA program in St. Cloud, but can definitely confirm that it get extremely cold there. Cost of living there is definitely cheaper than bigger cities.

I would suggest you study accounting, MIS with business focus or something tech related.
If you are looking around that area, then you might also want to consider North Dakota state U, its about 2 hours from St. Cloud, and is a decent school. Colder though :(

Refail bro,

I heard the MBA program in St Cloud is not so good. It only has either human relation or the information management ...............well as far as i have heard...and about those girls in video........well they are alright looking........however, i'd n't go crazy for them.

Good luck and if u planning to go to St Cloud........get ready to tolerate cold........i heard its really cold ( i mean REALLY).
