Can my employer at my restaurant who is ready to sponsor me for a green card help me in the process of getting GC in usa.?? i don't know much about this...can you guys help...

.. Yes they can, but it will take a long long time.And by the, watch out for indians  or other basterds , cuz they will say so, only to get u on bed. 
            My recommendations dont file a GC from restaurant. Even if they file,Lets say Ur status (f1 or whatever) will immediately dissolve after they send u a notice called (NAO) that means u can not go back to ur primary status(F1 or whatever). If USCIS decline ur GC, which is highly likely to occur; u will be illegal . Dont jeopardize ur status. Be happy with what u have; study hard -- graduate -- h1 and life will find its way.

Dont cry for GC cuz BIG GIRLS DONT CRY.... LOL 

Yes it is possible and will make it easy if:

1. You have restaurant or food management degree.

2. You make more than 70K.

3. You are in already in H1B status

4. You were never in out of status.
