I like the angle that the reporter potrays, specially that she did nothing wrong.

But as for her social ridicule, it is not because we are so far behind. When Paris Hilton's vdo came out, did anybody question the boyfriend? The girl is always the talked about subject, specially if she is the famous one. Don't give the sexist (male supremacy) angle here.

when a celebrity creates a scandal; he or she becomes the center of dicussion anywhere in the world...its not about male supremacy or watever that is.

In Nepal,there is no law and order that's why anyone free to do whatever they like.Otherwise let's think which action spread bad message in society 1)Namrata's Private work or Nepali Journalist's news?

No defense for Namrata n I feel sorry for the people who defend her as well. Its not because she had sex with someone, it is because she had sex with the one who has his wife. Do you guys accept any third person having sex with your wife or husband?? These things matter everywhere in the world, jati advanced or free society ma pani you are not allowed to have relationship with two person at the same time. lately England Captain John Terry was stripped off the captaincy because he had realtionship with somebody's fiancee. I am not defending Namrata.Her work in not ethical but we need to know Tantrik is married not Namrata.It is unethical because in our society it is not allowed sex before married.But we are only behind Namrata why we don't talk about Tantrik? Is he has right to have sex with other girls ignoring married wife? Is Nepali society only behind women's mistake? How long you Nepali man think you as a superior than women? I hate Nepalese mentality.Try to think as a human.

Ethics and news are two separate things.

It was not ethical for DJ Tantrik to have sex with another women because he was married. But then ethics and natural urges are two separate things. Was it an unnatural thing? No.If you really want to talk about ethics, then who was the more unethical of the two? Was Namrata more unethical because she had sex with a man who was married. or, was DJ tantrik more unethical because he had sex with another woman while he was married.

As far as news go, celebrities get more spotlight. In this case, Namrata is a celebrity so naturally she gets a huge spotlight for such a news.

agree with grgDai. its not the female sex that has been victimized here, its just the higher celebrity status that's getting spotlight. John terry got punished coz he is more famous than Vanessa Perroncel- if Vanessa, a french model i believe, if had an scandal with another guy then she would be the spotlight; the case was similar with paris hilton; and now its the same with Namrata. who knew  Trantrik  before the scandal? he did not have a celebraty status to be defamed. if the media had focused on Trantrik nobody would read their news.
I never felt sorry for Namrata. she got involved in sex- I hardly care, but got involved with a married man and  "agreed" to have a video of it. Shame on u bitch...  If you are a celebrity of a country you have to be bound by the values and norms of that country.

Ethically both of them were equally liable.
But news-wise, Namrata is going to have more pull than the unknown dj. PeopleBoat ko shreaya needs to grow up and stop idolizing cheaters. If Shreaya's boyfriend or husband slept with another girl then she will realize that she should not idolize Namrata.

I ain't no journalist or not associated to journalism. I am a Nepali and this matters to me. I don't mean to bother someone's private life but if someone present himself/herself in such worst way and shock the world then why do we encourage????? This is not what Mother Nepal want to see. She want to see the great son and daughter so, lets always encourage the good people and discourage the bad people.
