HI, my parents got denied for their visitors visa. The reason was counsilor thought they will not come back to Nepal. I am a U.S citizen, i make good money, i am in good terms with the USCIS. WTF is wrong with the counsilor. If my parents wanted to stay here i would have happyly applied for GC, 5 months they get their GC. The only reason i wanted them to apply for the visotor visa because they dont want to stay here, just visit. My father showed the proof of home ownership, job, my family back home. WTF is wrong with the american embassy. Please share your experience. Thanks in advance

You are the US citizen,you tell me.write to your congressman ,senator etc for injustice. Most sajha users are students or h1b holders. Ya it looks like they are rejecting a lot of cases like this lately.few days ago they rejected my friends grandma who is 85.

what i have seen is lot of people who come in visitor visa file asylum here......this might be a reason....just a thought.....

i heard of 5 year multiple visa but never heard of 10 years....are they giving 10 years multi these days?

That's why I hate most those consular officers. Last month they also rejected for my parents without any legitimate reason. I have never seen people with 65+ filing asylum.  But I have met asylee even coming here to attend cousin's daughter's 'pasney'. Nobody knows their intention, it's so ridiculous.
