Hi All,

I've been working on sajhalist/चाहियो .com for few days and would like to get some feedback to make the site more useful.

As seen from the classifieds posted in sajha, I felt that a move organized classifieds system was needed. It's in a working form right now but I want to hear back from on on what new categories to add. What other cities should be added? The cities listed are the ones with most activity in sajha currently.

Your comments/suggestions welcome.

All I want to say is go easy on the banners/ads, it hurts my EYEBALLS. Don’t get me wrong San but whenever I am on sajha, it's like Freaking HOLI on the Internet (What’s up with all that colors?)

But we need more fields, like travel nepal tickets (where u can put different ads as paid ).

And main thing is region , user should be able to choose the state, country where they need. If i am in London what matters me that a room is available in Jackson hight !! I saw u put in Last of choice but as far as i know its better if u put as first choice.

But need to keep the filter for State wise location, as amricane said, what would anyone care about NY and go through all the stuff that is up for sale in LA?

i saw it for Addition of advertisement but not for search criteria..

Hey all thanks for your feedback.

The way it works is that you have the option to set your location at the top, which will only show you the listings in your State if you are in the US or your Country if you are in any country besides the US - This is due to majority of postings being from the US. If at any point some other country have major postings then it can be easily converted to the same setup as for the US.

So if you setup United States - MA - Boston as your Location, then you will see all listings for "MA"

If you select a location that does not have any listings, it will automatically show you all other listings.

If you set you location to one city but want to see everything, you have the option to change your location to country  = world, at which point you will see all listings.

The menu on the left will filter the listings according to the title.

The search function is still being built.

I have tried to make it as intuitive as possible but I am sure there are many places for improvement.

The locations were pulled in from a database of approx top 200 cities with highest user density but it will be modified as time goes by.

As of now I have aggregated the sajha classifieds to come from the sajhalist.com site. So one can see a list on sajha homepage or directly access it from sajhalist.com or chahiyo.com

PS: if anyone adds a classifieds on this site by tomorrow then there is a chance this site will be of some use!
