Guys; How effective/strict is the everify for 17 month extension? Do I have to work for everified company or can a consultany do it for me?? If approved, can a student work with company which do not have everify? I mean can one change his job from a everifed company to non- everify company after his work permit (authorization) is approved for 17 months? How hard is it to get approved if everify is done through a consultancy? Do they check paycheck and other stuffs? Please help. Explain clearly. Any help appreciated! K. Pate

One of the requirement for STEMic extension is that the company should be e-verified.

All you have to do is to give your international coordinator the name of the company ,your job responsibility, your supervisor name and the company e-verify number. And then your university will send you the new I20 with all this information and you need to send that packet to USCIS .I am in a 17months OPT extension working now .If you are not working then get this information from any consultancy and it will work.I have seen so many people getting extension without working.

thanks nice bro. Really appreciated! I am working in opt. My company is not everified nor want to get enrolled. I just want to get everified somehow and still work at the present company because everything else is great. Finding everify company to get everify is a hassle. I also have heard many people getiing 17 month extension even without working. Do you know of any consultancies in around Texas?
