While I do not condone fake asylum seekers and I am NOT saying that you are one of them, but majority of fellow Nepalese are. If you are already lining in th US, you will be ineligible to apply for asylum in Canada. Does this answer your question?

Bro: Sincere apology that I missed the crucial word "NOT" in my earlier post. In your case, Canada is out of question. Canada and the US have entered into an agreement that will disqualify you from filing for asylum from the US to settle in Canada, and vice versa. The rationale behind this agreement is that if the asylee already resides in a country deemed to be safe, he/she must apply in the country of her residence... Hope this answers your question.
