I applied for Canadian PR in May 2010. Now they called me for an interview on Jan.
Do they usually call for an interview or not?
Has anyone face interview before?
What sort of questions do they ask?

Thank you in advance

if they have any doubts in your supporting documents, they call you for an interview. But, it should not be hard,  they will just ask what you have written or presented as a proof. can you update your timeline or when you got your second AOR... good luck

 thanks thukka,

When I applied I did not have 2 consecutive years of experience from USA. Thus I send my experience from Nepal, I think that should not be a problem.

Adventurer -congratulations on getting this far :). Did you apply under Qubec Skilled Worker? What profession, educational background did you apply under and did you apply yourself or used law firm? Just curious as we are yet to hear anything back from Qubec Immigration as we had applied mid summer this year.

thanks in advance and best of luck with rest of the process!!

Hi Adventurer,

Don't get panic when they called you for an interview. I did got an interview for Canada PR on federal skilled categories. When they sent me a letter for the interview it was written i need 6mth bank statement and all the originals of the documents i submitted.
I was lil panicked as among 6-7 of my friend they just called me for an interview and i had 2-3 yrs of experience in Nepal and a year in US. But when i went to Canadian Consulate in NY, the immigration office she started to ask me where u want to live in Canada and anything has changed since u applied. I finished another MBA so i told her that and she started talking informally and said your case is approved take the medical doc with you and couple of You'll be all set and she teased me by saying don't get married for few mth before you land to Canada otherwise she has to start from beginnings.
So saying that You'll be allset don't u worry abt it and i wish you a good luck.

I hope this helps you
