A 10-hour bandh (shutdown) called by Campaign to Defend Hindu Religion, a pro-Hindu organisation supported by right-wing hindu terrorists in India, and its sister wing Snehi Mahila Jagaran Nepal has partially affected life in Far-Western region of the country on Wednesday.
The Bandh organisers stalled transportation including private vehicles and tried to prevent shops from opening at different towns in the Far-Western region, reports say. Few factories and educational institutions are learnt to be operating in the affected districts while office-goers faced tough time to commute to work.
Many people have been stranded as long-route buses couldn't ply on the highway passing through the districts affected by the strike.
The pro-Hindu organisation has announced a two-day bandh in the Far-Western region enraged over refusal of former prime ministers of Nepal including top political party leaders to attend a function being organised by it to press for greater Hindu solidarity to defend Hindu religion.
Reports from Kailali said normal life in the district has been affected due to the 12-hour bandh (from 6 am to 4 pm) imposed by the pro-Hindu organisation.

This is not backed by India, its backed by the Indians, and perhaps the issue will go away soon. Please do not forget that India backed the Maoists terrorists, who killed 10000 of our own.

One of the reasons, that I hate indian policy is the time when King Birendra who was ruling the nation, proposed the idea of Nepal as a Zone of Peace. The international community was supportive of the idea but India declined to endorse it. India could have played big role in doing so because geopolitically it always had, have and will have impact to our nation. India never really had pure intention towards our nation. It always orchestrated it's motives to it's best interest. Everything they did to us, had some selfish political motives. They literally suppress us in many aspects still to this date.
This bandha if you believe so, could be one of episodes planned by them. I really hate indian policy and it's becoming curse to us. And the leaders of our country for some reason always seemed to bow in front of them.
