म अमेरिकाबाट अहिलेकोलागि घर फर्केको छु. म करिब ४/५ वर्ष यतै नेपाल नै बस्छु होला. अहिले सम्म मैले त्याँ बाँकि रहेको $३००० लोन तिरेको छैन. मसंग US को नागरिकता त छैन तर भोलि US आउन सक्ने खुबी भाको मान्छे भने हुँ. अहिले भने मलाई सार्है पैसाको खडेरी परेको छ. पैसा तिर्छु भनेको अमेरिकी साथीहरुले तिर्न पर्दैन केहि फरक पर्दैन. यहाँ कोसैले तिर्दैन भने. त्यो पैसा अब तिर्नु भनेको मुर्खता हो भने. अनि private लोन दिने संस्थाको immegiration मा कुनै हात हुँदैन तेसैले नतिर्दा नि हुन्छ भने..... मसंग हाल सार्है पैसाको खडेरी पनि भएको र नतिर्दा भोलि केहि फरक पर्दैन भन्ने सुनेको ले मन डगमगाएको छ. यसो सल्लाह पाउँ न हो.

paansingh, first off, you won't be given loan without proper documents. That means you've either social security  or PR card even if you are flaunting that you are not US citizen yet. I don't konw what do you mean by private loan company but they all work under state law and state protects their rights and services. I'm not sure if that private loan means hand-to-hand cash loans among friends. But if you've dealt with any private business, you'll be screwed up if not now then in future.
-Your credit score will go down the hill.
-You won't be able to open up bank accounts.
-You won't be approved for any loan in the future.
Evading loan is inviting your future of being homelessness in this country. If you are wondering how I know this, because I work in this field . Work with them and pay it off. Your friends circle seems like full of criminal thugs.
I can't imagine myself dying with the thought of still owing someone money.

Yedi intention kharab nai bhako bhaye jamma ~3000 kina 30,000 athawa 300000 nai liyera janthyo hola ni lol.

If you don't pay loans, they can come after you to a certain extent. They can sue you and can even take money out of pay check etc. Nobody is going to do that for 3000 dollars. Your credit score will go down. You will not be able to get more loans because of that. But, it DOES NOT effect your immigration matters. Unless you are just not paying it while still having a lot of money, treat this like a business matter without a lot of emotiOns attached to it.
On the other hand, like others have said, if this with a major bank and credit cards etc. You can work out a lOng term payment plan and I think they may even cut some of the balances.
